Flag Luxury Properties, LLC, is a real estate development firm with high-end projects in world class locations, including New York, Florida, Nevada, and Anguilla. Ms. Kanavos, a Board member for New Yorkers for Children, also serves as the Chairman of the Friends Committee for the organization.

Prior to joining Flag Luxury Properties, LLC, Ms. Kanavos was a real estate financial analyst and developer. In addition to her charitable efforts on behalf of New Yorkers for Children, Ms. Kanavos is actively involved as a Board Member for Save Venice, Inc, an Associates Committee Member for Memorial Sloan Kettering, and a Member of Friends of Baby Buggy.

Ms. Kanavos earned a BS from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and a MS from New York University in real estate development and finance. She was also the recipient of the prestigious Merit of Excellence Award in Philanthropy from Cornell University and was named Humanitarian of the Year at the Mary Haven Center of Hope. Ms. Kanavos was invited to participate in the 45th edition of the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series at the School of Hotel Administration. Ms. Kanavos resides in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
